Experiment with sketches in tattoo ink on leather in collaboration with tattoo artist Marinde Liebregts. Residency Vrouw Muskens ‘23
I was a resident in an old leather factory and stayed in a care facility for psychiatric patients. That means living according to a strict rhythm at set times and in between working in the studio. Impressed by the rhythm of the institution and the effect it has on the people living there, I made an oppressive suit out of leather from the tannery where the studio is located.
In the suit I performed the suggested exercises stated outside the care home.
